I’m done! :D

I have this strange belief that I shouldn’t blog until I get my exam results back. Not sure why but that’s why I’ve been MIA. But I finally did get my exam results and I can proudly say – I’ve finished my Bachelor of Pharmacy degree! It’s been 4 hard years – I still have another long year ahead as an intern before sitting my pharmacy board exam before I’m actually a pharmacist – but nonetheless, I’m so glad that the uni component is done.

So in the last month, a lot of things happened! I had my Pharmacy Ball (which is like a formal or prom). It was great – the food was really good and everyone looked so elegant. The theme was ‘Fire and Ice’ (I assume inspired by Revenge, haha) and I wore a blue dress 😀 I’m the one in the light blue dress:

(Friend sneaked a shot of me – clearly, I wasn’t impressed lol)

Last week, I also had a chance to abseil down a cliff. Basically walking ‘horizontally’ against a cliff. It was the first time that I had ever done it and I had no idea what the heck I was doing LOL. Basically facepalmed myself a couple of times against the cliff because you know, I’m smooth like that. I also ended up with a massive cut on my hand which I didn’t realise until I reached the bottom and noticed that my hand was covered in blood. It scared the heck out of me, but thankfully after being bandaged, it was all good 😀

Here’s a pic of where we abseiled off:

Abseiling

The view is really pretty, unfortunately you don’t notice it at the beginning while you’re being dangled from the edge, waiting to step off 😉 That was the most terrifying part but the moment you step off, it’s actually really fun.

Has anyone gone abseiling before? Or if you haven’t, would you consider it? My friends wanted to go abseiling of a waterfall…and as much fun as I had with this cliff, I don’t think slippery rocks and my co-ordination will work well with that 🙂

I also finally managed to watch Catching Fire yesterday. It was really good! 😀

Things have been pretty chaotic as I’m transitioning into full-time work. It’s tiring for the most part and I pretty much go home and sleep, then wake up and whoopee, it’s another day of work. Because it’s the holiday season, people are also flocking to the pharmacy with medications before they go on holidays/because they reached safety net. It was crazily busy yesterday – I had to stay back 2 hours to make sure I got everything done.

Anyone feeling the holiday frenzy kicking in?

First off, I have to say that your layout is so pretty! ^_^

Huge congratulations on finishing your degree! All that hard work you put in will most definitely pay off. I think that’s a great profession you chose and to get into. You looked really pretty at your ball! 🙂

I would LOVE to go abseiling, though I would probably be like you and faceplant myself a few times like a pro. X’D I’d actually love to go skydiving, too!

I’m pinching myself at how fast Christmas has come around this year, and all the people I know are running around like headless chickens at the moment trying to make sure everything is finished on time before the big day! *_*

Congrats for finishing your uni life! Although there’s one more year haha 🙂
Your dress was so nice, well it’s in blue though since I love blue, in any chrome haha.
Catching fire was amazing. That’s the best movie I ever watched (so far). I can’t wait for the continue of the split. But, rumours saying that the next movie will be Mockingjay: Part 1 and I really hate it. Why they won’t just end the movie and happily ever after ugh. Haha
P/S: Did I mentioned earlier in my post about your layout? It’s GORGEOUS.

I had to google abseiling, and…. it looks freaking scary to me! But, it’s only because I’m afraid of heights :). It must be amazing if you’re not!
Also, congratulations on almost being a pharmacist!

Congratulations on finishing your degree! It always feels so good when the year went by with good results 😀 I must say that you really look beautiful in the photos of your ball pictures!

I never went abseiling, though it looks like fun 🙂 I think I’d want to try it out 🙂

Congrats on being finished with your degree! I’ve never been to a formal/prom, it looks like a lot of fun though. Your dress is pretty. Abseiling seems like a lot of fun, but I know I could never do it. I don’t like heights at all and well behind on top of something super tall is a major part of it. haha. I noticed the other day how busy the pharmacy was in one of the stores I went to. I couldn’t believe it. but not that you mention holiday trips, it makes sense now. Plus where I live there’s colds and a little of every sickness going around right now. This year just the fact of the holidays coming so quickly is enough for everyone to be in a holiday frenzy. It seems like yesterday it was June.

omg yay for you for finishing your degree!! Ahh man becoming a pharmacist sounds like hard work but I’m sure you’ll do really well! You look really nice in your photos btw. It seems like you had fun~

Also I’ve never gone abseiling before but omg that sounds difficult. Personally I’m not that into hiking or uh anything like that haha but that certainly sounds like an accomplishment! Kind of jealous of your achievement, but glad you had a good time and did something so AWESOME, too 😀

Happy holidays and whatnot! Hopefully your workdays aren’t too exhausting :3

Many congratulations on getting your degree. I hear pharmacy is a difficult degree so you should be proud of yourself.

Abseiling looks like so much fun! I’m very jealous!

I’m so happy for you!! 🙂 it’s great that your hard work paid off, congratulations! You look lovely, I adore the dress! <3

I love abseiling! I was initially really afraid but the thrill felt so amazing 😀 I also love ziplining, have you tried it before?

The days are certainly passing so, so fast! To think of it, it'll actually be New Year soon…

Congratulations on getting your BAP degree! I’m happy that all of your hard work has paid off, and I imagine that you’re looking forward to getting the field experience that you need in order to “officially” become a pharmacist, huh? 🙂

You and your friends look like you were having a lot of fun, and you look SO pretty in that dress!

I’ve gone abseiling once too when I was around 16 years old.. Fell headfirst into the cliff I was abseiling from a couple times too, so I can relate to your pain, haha! It’s a lot of fun though, isn’t it? 🙂
The view you had from the cliff is absolutely spectacular! The cliff that I went down from was in the middle of a forest so all I could see was trees, trees and some more trees, lol. Not quite as impressive as overlooking the sea!

Catching Fire was definitely one of my favourite movie releases of this year. I think it was pretty much up to par with the books and I couldn’t help but pink away a tear or two during Katniss’s speech for Rue… 🙁

Merry early Christmas for you and your loved ones, I hope you’ll be able to enjoy the festivities amidst your work!

Aaahh why did you close the comment box of the previous post lol i so badly wanted to flail that we have quite the same taste when it comes to genre of books 😛 (also, i just added you on goodreads… wow why didn’t i do this sooner)

congrats on finishing college! i can’t wait to hear your experience on being a full fledged pharmacist! (ha, “full fledged” lol… you’d probably be familiar with this if you happen to read house of night…which i dislike haha)
anyway… wow prom. never experienced one before. no kidding. not that i’m interested either…. lol the theme reminds me of game of thrones the book(s) haha a song of ice and fire~

    uh…. how unfortunate, the cut on your hand. was it long? (=>=);;
aside from that, though, i bet it was fun to rope down the cliff. i….can’t imagine how you did it horizontally though since the default is to move vertically..yeah? i remember going forest trekking with parents in bali at 3 am dawn; we wanted to see the sunrise from the peak and boiled some eggs but that didn’t happen lol we were too tired since we’ve never done any trekking before. =___=;; but it’s good to bond with nature 🙂

i wanna try abseiling too but not sure if i’m fit enough to do it. i spend all day long sitting down in front of the pc and the only “sport” i do is go to the bathroom or close my bedroom door or open the fridge to be a snack monster so yeah.. i think i’d end up swaying by the rope in mid air lol

last but not least, no i don’t feel the holiday vibe kicking in.
last year, during the first semester, i had like… a month or more(?) christmas/new year break..now it’s just two weeks. my friend said it’s better than nothing since it’s impossible for the uni to give us more breaks than that… semester 3 and getting so so busy…absolutely no resting.

so, while everyone else is probably off vacationing, i’ll recharge myself for two weeks so i can prepare my brain for next year when finals need to be prepared -___- sucks.

Congrats on graduating! That’s a huge milestone that not everyone reaches, especially in four years and I feel like everyone needs a pharmacist, haha. It’s great that you know where you’re headed afterwards too!

Your dress is really pretty and abseiling sounds like a lot of fun! I’ve never gone but it basically sounds like climbing? Thankfully your hand wasn’t worse and didn’t need more attention after bandaging it. I’ve actually never heard of it but I would definitely consider doing it~

    Happy holidays!!

Congratulations on your Bachelor of Pharmacy degree. I wished I was at that point. Unfortunately, I still have a long way to go. I’m almost at the 40% mark. I don’t know how you do it. So much to remember.

That’s a nice view from the cliff. Abseiling looks like fun. I’ve seen them do it in movies and television shows. They make it look so easy, but I bet it’s hard to do. Ouch. That must have been one nasty cut on your hand. Your very courageous to do these kind of things. I don’t know if I would do it. Maybe.

Congratulations on finishing your degree! The Pharmacy Ball looks like fun, I really like your dress.

Abseiling sounds fun, except for the facepalming and injury! I hope you healed fast 🙂

I think I am the only person who can safely say no to that question. I work at a bank and our branch is one of the slowest branches. It didn’t even get busier for the Christmas shopping season. Which isn’t surprising because we are the last exit on the highway for the city that I live in. So only suburbs on the far side would have people coming to this Walmart. Which, btw, I work at a bank inside of Walmart.

Congrats on finishing your degree! Try full-time employment plus going to school online. It was hard but I got through it! I, currently, am trying to transfer colleges and go to school and live on campus while I finish my Bachelor’s Degree. I just finished my Associate’s Degree this semester and will be taking the spring off to try and finish the prerequisites I need for the Bachelor’s Degree program for Early Education.

This layout is cool, btw. It looks good on my phone! (:
